San Francisco Redevelopment
Agency:
The SF Redevelopment Agency was established for the purpose of
improving the environment and creating better urban living conditions
of the City. Authorized and organized under the provisions of the
California Community Redevelopment Law, the Agency is an entity legally
separate from the City and County of San Francisco, but existing solely
to perform certain functions exclusively for and by authorization
of the City and County of San Francisco.

the 7-1/2 miles of San Francisco Bay shoreline stretching from the
Hyde Street Pier to India Basin. The Port's responsibilities include
